Alan Burns RIP. We are very sorry to announce the death of Alan Burns who, among many other roles, was the TRG computational fluid dynamics lead. Alan was a valued and esteemed colleague for many years whose depth of understanding of both fluid dynamics and the underpinning mathematics was unparalleled. He will be sorely missed for his scholarship, good humour and wise insight.
